Sunset ~ Biscuit Waffles (again) ~ Pickle Martini

Good 28º morning. Beautiful day yesterday. Great sunset...

I made the biscuit waffles yesterday morning. OMG Good! Easy. No muss. No fuss. So tasty. Just like waffles, not like biscuits!

When you put them in the waffle iron, press down on them so they don't puff up.

George Bachmeier sent this and it's hard to watch. It's a police shooting in Arkansas.

If you survived that, then this one is fun!
And for the best one... an off-duty CHP shoots a suspected burgler. Good guys 1. Bad guys 0 !!!!

When I was over at Jeannie's the other day Bill had made himself a martini using my canned spicy (jalapeno, chipotle, lemon zest, and celery seed) green tomato pickles, so I decided to make one last night....

2 oz vodka, 4 T pickle juice, shake with ice, pour into cold glass, garnish with tomato pickles on a martini stick. Oh so good!

Biscuit waffles. Amazing how people think things up like this. Will try them. Bill had another one of those martinis last night too. Your green tom picks are so good, & spicy.
We should all have spaghetti for dinner.
Sorry, I can't watch the video. Don't want to cry. Have a wonderful day!!! xo

Hope to get that waffle iron today. I loved Julia Ormand in Legend of the Fall. So pretty. Doesn't work much now though. Saw her last in Benjamin Button. I love green tomato pickles! Must try a martini soon! Love to you!! t and g

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, a martini and waffles! YUMMO BTW, I found a new morning drink... Freshly squeezed orange juice and vanilla or Whipped Cream Vodka. Tastes SO much like those orange ice cream bars we ate as kids.
