Friday 13th Aftermath ~ Football Playoffs ~ Dress Up Your Pet Day

Good 22º (again) frozen morning. Pretty sky ..... and Mr. Moon...

So........... yesterday was Friday the 13th and we're not supposed to be superstitious. Well, fuey. I am! My friend 'Seal Beach Judy' had a dead car battery that delayed her day. Then after returning from the market with a 6 pound chicken to cook, my crockpot DIED! I immediately ordered one from Amazon and cooked that danged chicken in a cast iron enamel pot...

My new crockpot will arrive on Tuesday.

Felt sort of out of sorts all day. ?? Didn't go to the Marine Corps League dinner/meeting. Stayed in. Had a fire. (Thanks to Jason, he stacked wood for me) and just chilled out. Snoozed in my chair.

Today is going to be 'Martini Day' at the Mediterranean. Jeannie, Billy, and I will ... in a most ultra-minor unassuming quiet reserved secretive merciful discreet laid-back and unpretentious benign over-simplified way, celebrate his birthday (which is tomorrow) and toast to his good looks, suave and debonair ways, and good taste in women! (Boy, what a crock! ... the part about the suave and debonair! You do have good taste in Jeannie~! Love you Bill!!!) We will also watch FOOTBALL! Saints vs 49ers and Patriots vs Broncos. GO PATRIOTS!!!!!!

I was in the bank yesterday, wearing (of course) my Patriots jacket, when a gentleman said, "Good luck tomorrow." I had no clue. Thought he might have thought he knew me. Not. It was my jacket. OK, I get it now!!!
 Thanks!

Looks like we all survived Friday the 13th):-.

I can dress up both dogs in the one scarf. If they put up with that, I will take a picture to post.
Nice the guy at the bank wished you luck without saying "hope you get lucky" today. Ah- the English language.

Sue,

Maggie sure looks good in the Becky scarf! Hope you can get some use out of it too! :)

I am shocked that you only have one crock pot. I only had one until Becky and family gave me the big one for Christmas. Think I will make pozole in it today.

Sounds like Judy's day ended very well going to that wonderful premiere.
WOW! Jack Jones is still gorgeous! Rare in the entertainment world!
Have a good one! Hugs, Trisha
