Black Bean Dip ~ Runner's Water Bottle Holder

Good 31º foggy morning. Stayed yucky all day yesterday. Never warmed up. Fuey. Be careful out there... full moon! (Yes, Patty, I'll stay in and will not touch any knives or guns!)

Easy Black Bean Dip
This from Eating Light.... Yummy and good for you!

2 (15-ounce) cans black beans, rinsed and drained
1 cup grated carrot
1/2 cup fresh lime juice (about 2 limes)
1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper

Place beans in a food processor, and pulse until almost smooth. Combine the beans, carrot, and the remaining ingredients in a medium bowl, stirring until well blended. Let stand 30 minutes. Serve at room temperature with baked tortilla chips.

The first testicular guard, the "Cup," was used in Hockey in 1874 and the first helmet was used in 1974. That means it only took 100 years for men to realize that their brain is also important.

Ok, and in the same vein.... well maybe not..... here is a commercial for a water bottle holder for runners... male runners. :o)

Yesterday was a 'cleaning' day. I have silk plants on top of the entertainment center and told Jeannie I was going to clean them with silk plant spray.

She told me to just rinse them off in the shower. I used the spray on the first one ... and by golly she was right... I sprayed the other two off with hot water in the shower and they came out cleaner!

Thanks Jeannie!

Sun made a short appearance yesterday about 2pm and then hid again. For a few it was pretty with the clouds lingering low on the mountain.
The woodpecker family was hanging out...

They are funny. If I whistle at them they bob their heads and whistle back!

This is fun, the woman or man speaks whatever you type in the box. You can adjust the speed, language, gender by picking a male or female name in the "voices" box.

Thanks Lynn Helbing for this!

Sue,

That video of the jog strap was a HOOT!!! lol

Wouldn't you think Crystal Gayle would get headaches with all that hair! You know she is Loretta Lynn's sister. What a difference in those two.
I tried that spray for silk flowers yrs ago and all it did was leave dried up dust on them so I started putting mine in the shower too. Works like a charm and they dry just fine.
I have a tall silk tree in the entry and I take it outside and turn the hose on it. Looks great!

Today is cleaning out the kitchen frig and freezer for me. Excitement abounds!

XO Trisha
