Andy Rooney ~ Witch's Brew ~ Goats ~ Krispy Kremes

Good 36º raining morning. So far in the last hour we've gotten .03". Pressure is still dropping.

Sadly Andy Rooney died last night. He was 92 years old. Loved his commentaries. RIP Andy!

After doing bills I headed out about 1pm... the worst part of going somewhere is the sad look on Maggie's face when I leave..... "Mom, how come you are leaving me here?"

Yesterday PJ and I went to Harry and David's.
I wanted to get some of their Witch's Brew Coffee (flavored with chocolate, orange, and cognac) because it's a favorite of mine and they only have it for sale at Halloween. Well, I almost missed it, they did have some in their 'clearance' shop. Whew....

And since I'm a good customer I had received a coupon for a free bag of Moose Munch. So, picked up mine. Mmmmmmm.....
The Moose Munch sells for about $8 a bag. Something interesting, if you go to Google images, and type in "harry and david's witch's brew coffee" images will appear. If you click on the image like above it will take you to my blog from last October!

Anyway, PJ signed up for their email news and she also got a free bag of moose munch! Since it has chocolate in it, lucky Dave! Then we headed to Costco. Dog chews, artichokes, Airborne (on sale), chicken and vegetable pot stickers, and a turkey breast (to smoke).

After I returned home I took a bottle of wine and headed up to visit with Nancy for a bit. She was making lasagna. Mmmm mmmm mmm... lucky David! Before I left here I stopped to take a picture of the goats down by my gate....
Inquisitive little guys....

After I returned home I took a picture of the threatening sky..

Today is a dear friend's birthday... Greg Lundell, Wilsonite, Mr. Radio Voice, husband of the lovely Becky and dad to the darling Lauryn. He also has added to his resume, he's a father-in-law now!
Still a cutie!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GREG! xo

Ya know, sometimes the stickers on items just get put in the wrong places. For example....

(Dang, not a Krispy Kreme anywhere near here! The closest are in Beverton or Portland or Stockton Ca!)

Here is a funny blog about Krispy Kremes...

I'm so sad about Andy Rooney - we've been watching him for decades - even boys come out to watch andy with us. Our world will be less colorful without him! Melinda

Oh Miss Sue,
What a mean thing to post those pics of all the donuts. They were always my downfall but now it's salty crunchy. mmmmmm donuts and chips together! :):)
When I posted that pic of "How to Cook Your Dog" I didn't notice the sticker at all and the only one who did notice on FB was my d-i-l Debbie. She wrote "Yes, number one selling book in the Asian countries"! WHAT?? LOL LOL Only THEN did I get it, then everyone else "got it" too. I found the pic of the book without the sticker on Amazon and posted it. What a hoot, huh?

Sorry about the donuts, T. They make me drool too. What is great, in Stockton on March Lane they have an In-N-Out and a Krispy Kreme next to each other! Talk about calories!

Debbie is funny! xo

I'm not so sure the stickers on those books are accidental. =)
