Pretty Maggie ~ Seared Scallops

Good 47º morning.
Only 90 days left in this year. Scary.

Yesterday I took Missy Maggs into the groomers for a bath. I have been meaning to do it myself but with the back .... well, I decided to pay to have her cleaned up! So pretty and smells soooo good now!!!
While she was there I mowed. Yeah. Now I need to organize all my porch plants for the winter. Also, need to spray berry bushes too before much rain falls. And, I didn't get the tomatoes done yet!!! Today. :0)

Sue, I met Spanky as an adult when I have my Food Brokerage in Vernon. He was working for another broker I knew putting together big loads of product, on commission. We shared many a lunch and toddies at the landmark La Villa Basque in Vernon. Seems like everyone "in the business" landed there at least once a week or more for lunch. Nice memories. Thanks for triggering a few. XO Edda

Sue,

When I first looked at the photo of George Arthur I thought it was Sunny Bono. To me there is an uncanny resemblance, especially around the mouth. I will try to find the program and tape it.

Missy Maggs sure looks all sweet and spiffy!
Lydia sure makes me laugh! lol

XOXO Trisha

I wonder why I read, "The Perfect Day", I DO need a box of tissue now! We've put down 2 of our beloved dogs in the past, each one was 16 yrs old. But the perfect day idea is a good one and I wish my dogs had not been too ill to have one. The scallops look wonderful and I love shellfish! Glo
