~ Old Photos ~ Mo' Rain ~ Coquilles St. Jacques ~

Good 39º morning. Had more rain yesterday, almost 1/4". 50%  chance today.

Yesterday was filled with excitement.... house cleaning duties. Yippeeee....  Yawn. Maggie and I did take the trash to the can and put it out on the road. On the way back we stopped and talked to Frank and Cindy and Maggie and Lucy had a sniff fest. Cindy gave me a tomato plant, so when the weather promises not to freeze anymore, I will put it in the ground.

Again, I found a bunch of old photos and have put them in envelopes and will mail them to respective participants in the photos. Some from a wedding in 1967, some family photos, I emailed a picture of my old high school friend Anne and her boyfriend, I'm thinking from 1965 or 66.  My my, we were young!
In this one, Sandy Todoran and Kathy O'Brien .. next Patty Hite, and can't remember the other girl. This was our friend Sue Shewalter's wedding. She married John Hite. (Just FYI for you Wilsonites)

This is one of my most favorite recipes...
Except Rachael Ray uses vermouth for the sauce and I add lemon juice instead and several pats of butter. Makes a HEAVENLY sauce.

Ah, the U-2 flights. Pakistan was our ally in those.
Didn't know that about Poe. So he did what my maternal grandfather did- cause a family scandal. Atleast my grandmother was a rather matronly 16. She never made it to 21.
