Good 33º morning. Frost on the barn roof!
But that full moon was out first thing (6am)...
Yesterday rocked with excitement. I worked on pictures in my computer and getting them onto the external hard drive, did some vacuuming after I spilled Nyjer seed in the kitchen, and went through magazines to toss. Maggie and I went to town and I got some groceries. It rained and then the sun would come out and then go away again and rain again. All day long it did this....we didn't even get enough rain to measure.
Dinner was stir fried asparagus with white mushrooms and then added cooked brown rice.
... the herbs I have been using on everything lately are some Linda gave me for Christmas. Awesome....
I haven't tried them on oatmeal yet (joke) but have on just about everything else. Along with rosemary sea salt... good stuff!
Historically this date....
A bunch of stuff happened as well as...
1962 – A birthday salute to U.S. President John F. Kennedy takes place at Madison Square Garden, New York City. The highlight is Marilyn Monroe's rendition of Happy Birthday.

Sue,
I've said it over and over again! You must be the healthiest gal in town! Your meals scream "HEALTHY"! You could be a vegetarian, girl!
STILL frost on the roof in May! hmmmm When does one plant veggies up there??
Hugs, Trisha
Yes, I do love vegetables, but couldn't go through life without a steak occasionally or an In-N-Out!!!
Don't normally put tender plants in the ground (i.e. tomatoes) until June 1st. I didn one year and spent a lot of time covering and uncovering the tomatoes. xo
Thank you for the suggestion of brown rice and asparagus together.
Saw the Who twice. Shocker- not as loud as Martina McBride. She was the only concert we ever left early because we were in pain.
But (hands over our ears) she was pitch perfect- dressed beautifully and if the sound crew hadn't tried to break the sound barrier, first class all the way.
