~ SUNSHINE! ~ Almost Spring! ~ Eagles ~ Soba Noodles ~

Good 40º cloudy morning.

Yeah, the sun came out yesterday again!!!

And it does look like Spring may, after all, show up here!

The apple tree.....

And the little cherry tree....

This is interesting.... I ordered 50 bunny beads from Oriental Trading for Easter earrings.
They arrived but 26 of them were broken. I scanned a picture of the broken ones and sent that along with a letter to Oriental Trading telling them they should find a better way of packaging them to mail. They just sent me an email that they are sending me 50 more bunny beads at no charge! Wow. I'm impressed.

Snow in Iowa and the eagles nest camera was covered with it so I didn't see them yesterday but Erika got this picture of both parents keeping the babies warm....

Then this morning it was just Dad sitting there...

The little eaglets are getting big!

Look ... our gas is now 4.17 !!!

Yesterday I got the birdhouses put up high on L brackets. The bluebirds that were making a nest in the red/white/blue house returned after I moved it and seemed ok.

I went to the Post Office , then to the market, then to Ace. Such excitement here. When I came home I decided dinner would be a bit different. I had bought some soba noodles and shrimp. Either rinse the noodles (they are pre cooked and you find them in the deli case) with warm water or pop them in the micro for a minute. I stripped the shrimp and cooked them in some EVOO along with some broccoli. Then added some broccoli slaw, sliced grape tomatoes, hoisin sauce and sesame oil, mixed in and added the noodles until hot.

Really really good!!!!

All I know. Nuff said. Happy Wednesday

It is absolutely better to be a baby Eagle than a momma or pappa eagle. Brrrrrrrrrr.

Love Soba Noodles. Maybe I'll get some.

Want the pineapple upside down cake- but blood sugar a bit elevated this morning.

Awwww love seeing the eagles! Love that both parents take care of them. So sweet.

Be still my taste buds looking at that wonderful dinner! Asian and the noodles! YUM! My favorite kind of meal!

Your flowers and trees amaze me. You just had snow on the ground not too long ago and now it's looking like spring! Pretty!

Hugs, Trisha
