Geese Ducks Turkeys Squirrels Eagles ~ Empanadas

Good 29º foggy morning.
Yesterday was one of those weird weather days..
It snowed first of all, then most all of it melted.
The sun came out. Then the sun would go away
and we'd have one terrific hail storm. Then the
sun was back out again. Red light, green light!!
Watching the eagles yesterday. The daddy was eating what looks like trout and a muskrat or gray squirrel....
And then he was feeding the babies......

Too cute!!!
This morning it looks as though they had rain in Iowa,
raindrops on the camera lens...
Yesterday morning I was eating an artichoke for
breakfast (Yes, Patty, 'breakfast'! LOL) and Harley
decided he wanted some. Brat. He jumped up on my
desk and he licked the mayonnaise! Sigh...
He likes mayonnaise and olive oil and salad dressings....
It does look like these fellas are flirting hard with
the young girls! Showoffs! Doesn't appear the
'ladies' were impressed!
Here's a shot... a goose, a turkey, and a squirrel
all vying for the snacks...
and Mr. Squirrel was back in the bucket...
Cleaned out shelves in the closet, stuff ready to go to Goodwill if anyone up here isn't interested in the stuff. I sent an email with pictures. Got a couple replys. Feels good to organize!

Sue,
Yes what strange weather you had! We had another storm late yesterday. It was very weird as the sun was out, wind blowing like crazy and the rain was coming down and blowing against the windows. Then John went out front and called us out there to see the giant rainbow. Pretty. I told him to get in his truck and go find the end of it and get that pot of gold! :):)

Isn't that an awful pic of Betty Ford? Yikes! Mean looking!
Loved the one of all the male turkeys trying to impress the females who are ignoring them. Playing hard to get? :)

Thinking of Lydia this morning and hope they get it all done and get to that ship on time. Can't wait to hear all about the wedding and the trip. I was chuckling when she said that she needed to do more packing this morning! Yikes!
Have a good one!
Hugs, Trisha

Poor Betty Ford, I think that was taken at her husband's funeral. Didn't you get a picture of the rainbow??? The turkeys are fun and make me laugh. I too hope Lydia and Gerry have a wonderful cruise and their son's wedding comes off perfectly! xo
