~ Eaglets ~ School Librarian Day ~

Good 47º morning. Gaaaaa... yesterday was 27º and we hit a high of about 58º. Strange weather. Rain forecast for tonight, 100%. Yippeeeeee.....
The eagles in Decorah Iowa have hatched. Well, so far two have hatched....
The first one hatched 4-2 and the second one yesterday.
On my way to get that fun mammogram today. A stop at Costco. Post office to mail my taxes I finally finished yesterday. I also have birthday cards to mail and a birthday package for my grandson, Jack. "Tax Day" the 15th, we have son Aaron's birthday, Jack's birthday, and Jen's brother Jimmy's birthday. Busy day.
Historically this date...

1797 – In the first ever peaceful transfer of power between elected leaders in modern times, John Adams is sworn in as President of the United States, succeeding George Washington.
1977 – The 1977 Bucharest Earthquake in southern and eastern Europe kills more than 1,500.
And births this date include...
Barbara Nix's birthday. Happy Birthday Barb!!!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Monday. Ciao.

Modern Times began in 1797? That makes us all younger.

Congrats to momma and poppa eagles. I hope the babies don't grow up like Real Life circus brats-addicted to showing off for the camera.
