Good 24º morning. This freezing weather is not making my tulips happy!
Yesterday I made a run to Medford to pick up envelopes from Ruth. The sky was busy...
Then a run to the store for Easter "stuff". Then to the market. I saw a great license plate on the road...
Made me laugh!!!
Then that reminded me of a great sign on a beauty shop in Grants Pass...
On my way up our road I saw something spectacular...
Our mailman, Randy, in an OOOOOOficial mail truck. Wow, Rogue River has really come up in the world! Prior to this all the mail delivery was done in nondescript POVs. Randy had a big happy grin!
Claire and Lizzy stopped by to pick up some stuff and we had a short visit. Then off to Nancy and Dave's for a glass of wine. Dave has a chicken coop now with baby chicks. Two different kinds (I can't remember what they are called..)
The big ones have feathers on their feet! Funny. And the little ones are being protected by the bigger ones. Sweet.
Their dog, Skeeter, is always fun. She is highly motivated to get as much attention as she can...
Skeets is always keeping an eye on everything!
Even when she's chewin' on her chewy...
and watches outside for turkeys to chase...
I had experimented earlier with Patty's jalapeño poppers. I made some with regular bacon and some with turkey bacon. Took them to Dave and Nancy's. I liked the turkey bacon best and Dave liked the real bacon best.
I had made some Easter earrings for Nancy, but forgot them. She's stopping by today to pick them up, so I'll see her later.

National Jelly Bean Day
(Because I used to keep a jar of jelly beans on the kitchen sink and when my granddaughter Alex would come over, she'd always ask for a jelly bean, I nicknamed her Jelly Bean ... ergo my email address... as she called me Bobo! And now you know the rest of the story.)

There are a couple of places I woulnd't want to live, Weed in Ca is one, and in Oregon there is the town of Boring and the town of Drain. Come on people...couldn't come up with something better???

I'm too blonde this morning, don't get the vanity plate! I remember when Glenn Campbell stole Mac Davis' then wife, Sarah Jane! Your poor tulips. My neighbor gave me a tulip plant and I have the bulbs in the refrigeration for next season.
