Here are some road cam pictures of the coast here in Oregon...Highway 101 has been closed completely. Regular TV programming has been preempted for the continuing news.

This is really fun... I bet you can't stop playing with it. See a picture of where you grew up. Check out some of your old "haunts". When you enter an address you will see a picture of the place. There is a little map with a man on it .. you cam move the man up or down the street. Use the N on the direction circle to look around. http://www.vpike.com/

Yesterday about 5pm the sky was ominous....
so we had a snuggy fire....
The chatter re the tsunami is getting more and more. Waves hitting San Francisco Bay. Big ones on our coast now. The pictures from Japan show the horror. So sad.
All I know. Going to have a cup of coffee and watch the news. My new printer showed up so will set that up today.
Ciao. Happy Friday.

The casserole sounds GOOD!
My nephew is stationed in Japan. By good fortune, he's home on leave. Expect he's about to learn about humanitarian missions.
The Alaska earthquake- I remember the damage on our annual family pilgrimage up the cost to Oregon. The water damage that summer was still evidence- quite a bit inland- over the height of my head.
Sue,
What horrific news to wake up to this morning. John came in before I had logged on and told me what had happened. Prayers going up for all those folks.
So glad I was able to copy and paste the casserole recipe onto Word, printed it out and it's now in my notebook. I just wish John liked broccoli, dang it!
He's waiting eagerly for his gun safe to be delivered today.
Sweet pics of the fur kids!
Oh yes, we had FOUR gray squirrels on patio yesterday. They were drinking out of the saucer under the aloe plant. This morning John put out a big water dog dish for them and also a little bowl of dog kibble. Jeeeeze they already feel at home here now we will have them around under foot I am sure!!
Hugs, Trisha
Gray squirrels are fun to watch for sure! Enjoy their antics! As for the broccoli, you could substitute just about any vegetable in the casserole. Let's see how creative you are! xo
