~ Rain ~ Bob the phone guy ~ Popcorn Day

Good 40º morning. It's a full moon kids! Be careful out there. As for the "chance" of rain predicted.... well that "chance" turned into 1/4" of the liquid sunshine! It was after dark last evening and Maggie went outside. When she came back in she was all wet! Hmmmm..... OMG, rain! At 3:15 the sky looked like this.....

Yesterday morning the sky was awesome....

Bob, the phone guy, got here just after 9 yesterday morning. He found a coupling (whatever it's called) on the pole and took it apart. It had turned upside down and was full of water and corrosion.

Thought that was the problem, but it wasn't. He went back down to the main road to the 'box' and found a cable problem. YEAH!!! Bob is today's hero. Phone is working perfectly and so is the modem. This picture is for Bob's wife, so she can see him in his working mode.....

What a treat to have the phone line clear and the computer running smoothly for a change. This has been going on for some time with the modem going on and off. Big sigh...... Thanks Bob!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CATHY!!!

So, dinner last night.... I cheated and didn't make a white sauce for the lobster ravioli (from Costco) ... I used jarred sauce....

So I drained the tomatoes and added them to the Alfredo sauce ....

Then I added some dried onion, sliced garlic, Sonoma pepper, lemon sea salt, and red chili flakes....

In the meantime I cooked the ravioli and also some broccoli and mini carrots....

Then I added it all together...

Taaaa daaaa....
Really really good!!!!  That and a glass of chard... wonderful dinner.

Ok, Maggs has to go to the vets to day for a blood test.. still drinking a lot of water! And I need to pick up prescriptions for me, drop off pig ears and light bulbs to Brian, (pig ears for Atlas!), and something else I can't remember at the moment. Have a great Wednesday~ Ciao.

Katy Sagal can SING. She is so much more talented than the parts she has played. That I've seen.

Thinking of Lucy giving birth on camera... Can you imagine what would be shown if Snookie were to give birth?????? TMI, TMI.

I've never seen Sagal do anything worth noting. When did you hear her sing? As for the Lucy thing, I was going to comment..... but....oh well. Remember the HUGE maternity clothes she wore! And now her baby boy is a big fatso. Sad. He was a cutie at one time. xo

Ladies,

Oh yes! Katie Sagal is best know for her wonderful singing voice. I always had a soft spot for her in Married With Children. Seems that I was her look alike. For years at Chaparral the kids called me "Peg". Yup, for Peg Bundy! Don't know if they thought they were insulting me (her big red hair) but I would always laugh and say "Yea, I WISH I had her bod!!" That took the wind out of her sails! lol When I went to a tapeing of the show people in the line thought I was her! LOL
Even the MC had me stand up and resite something that she says on the show. So I put my fingers together like she always did and said "OH AAALLLLL"!!(Al was her hubby) Yes she is a wonderful singer.

Oh Sue! Your dinner!!! I am always impressed at what you put together in the kitchen!! I have never seen raviolis with stripes! Surprised you didn't throw in artichoke hearts. I've used that brand of Alfredo sauce and it's very good so why not? My fav dish for it is shrimp and pasta.

Glad you phone and modem are fixed! Wish Edda would get hers fixed!

Hugs and have a good one!
XO Trisha

I didn't even think about artichoke hearts. But, the broccoli and carrots were really enough. The red stripe I thought denoted "lobster" but I went to their website and their butternut squash ravioli has the red stripe! Hmmmmm... check it out at www.pastaprima.com
