... Gonna be an interesting day picking the SuperBowl combatants!

Yesterday the sun came out again...after a long foggy morning.

I got more cupboards cleaned out. Tossed old meds and cold pills. Washed clothes. Exciting, eh? The neighbor's dog, Shiloh, escaped their fence again and was down here sitting in my pasture. Maggie barked at her and she came running. She was sooooo happy. I sat on a chair on the porch and she tried to get as close to me as she could, trying to get into my lap. She loves to be loved on. Guess they never do it. Of course I gave her a treat. I walked to the gate, meeting up with Gerard who was coming to get her. Back was killing from that walking.

Last night I cooked the lobster ravioli in boiling salted water, drained and patted dry, drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with Rosemary sea salt.... then fried them crispy. Cooked al dentê some broccoli and carrots. Made a dipping sauce from lemon juice, lemon zest, mayonnaise, and a spoonful of pesto.

Really good, finger food dinner!

About 5:45 there was still a sliver of light over my mountain.....

Yesterday's oatmeal was 1/2 cup oats, 1/2 cup pomegranate juice, 1/2 cup water ... microwave 2 1/2 min, add pecans and cut up apple, drizzle with honey. Mmmmmmm....

All I know. Happy Sunday. More cupboard cleaning today.....
Ciao.

Thank you for reminding me about football.
Spent so long on rose pruning yesterday that I forgot the excuse to cut the work short today!

The ravioli looks yummy. Football + finger food = true love. As long as no one stands infront of the TV.....

Sue,

mmmmm Your plate looks so colorful and healthy!

I am all set for the games and for Pie Day!
Bought all kinds of ingredients for dip making and have the lemon meringue pie I bought at Marie Calender's.
When this renovation is finished around here I will get back to cleaning out cupboards and putting new shelf paper. I got some of them done before the holiday prep started.
It never ends, huh? At least the kitchen is all cleaned out!

Happy game watching day!!
