Sun ~ Police Salaries ~ Car Wash ~ Dog Barrier ~ Joan Petit-Clair ~ Johnny Appleseed

Good 39º cloudy morning.
OMGOSH, yesterday we had SUN!!!!!
Not only that, we zoomed from the 50ºs to 78º!!!!! YIKES, I was 'perspiring' !!! I even opened all the doors and windows! HEAVEN!

Ok, so yesterday I mailed my taxes and the 1969 original birth certificate of my step-son Aaron, to him. Then to the carwash. I get a new car and ever since the 10th of February when I got it, it's rained, snowed, and been muddy!!! Nice to have it shiny and clean. Boy was the car wash busy... sun does that to us Oregonads.

Then to Brian's office where he installed the 'gate' to keep Dude in the back of the car...
This was how Dan at Ace helped me strap it in before Brian installed it....

It's weird to drive with this back there now, as it is like looking in the rear view mirror of a radio car and seeing the cage the prisoners are put in, in the back seat!

This should work great!

Another stop at Roe Motors where Joe Bouquet showed me a couple things about my new ride I didn't know. Thanks Joe, I'll be back!! My mud flaps are in so I made an appointment to get them put on. Then to the market and to the drug store to get some post cards to mail to President Trump on the 15th. Some of you know about that, I wrote in an email. It's to encourage him. If you are interested in this, email me and I will give you the particulars ... Jellybeansbobo@aol.com .

Special birthday today... my traveling pal Joan Petit-Clair. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOAN! Hope you have a super day!!!
On our trip from NY to Nova Scotia and Bar Harbor.... and a few other stops....

1965 – Jesse Jackson, Jr., American politician
There you go..... good old Chicago politician!!! How to make your daddy proud: In 2012 federal prosecutors and FBI agents in Washington, D.C. investigated Jackson for alleged financial improprieties, including possible misuse of campaign funds. Jackson resigned from Congress on November 21, 2012, citing mental and physical health problems, including bipolar disorder, clinical depression, and gastrointestinal problems. On February 8, 2013, Jackson admitted to violating federal campaign law by using campaign funds to make personal purchases. Jackson pleaded guilty on February 20, 2013 to one count of wire and mail fraud.

Later I had munched on more of that popcorn so wasn't hungry for dinner. So, chair, wine, TV.

All I know. Nuff said. Happy Saturday. Ciao.

Well as the old saying goes, you can take a person out of the ghetto but you can't take the ghetto out of the person! Trouble is Jackson, Jr. was never in the ghetto. He was raised in private schools and privilege! There you go!! grrrr

That photo of Joan on the aft of that cruise ship makes me eager to go on another cruise! Yup, we will in August! :)

I thought the same thing about that cage looking like in a radio car. :) Did Dude walk on up front before the cage?

Dude is the reason I got a car with tan interior. He would climb up to the front seats and put his kanji (drool that looks like Asian writing) on the windows. Dog hair everywhere in that truck with the black interior! Sigh.... so now he can't. But, he's got lots of comfy room. xo

LOL- The pets in charge when you match purchases to their fur. Most of our chairs are beige. So is the carpet. And tile....

Johnny Appleseed Day? Will have to do something to celebrate.
