Moon ~ Rain ~ Cat Pullover ~ Thanks America ~ Ellen Pantalone ~ Shirley & Wayne Low ~ Biddle Ranch Winery ~ Vegetable/Hummus Wrap ~ Fast Food Day

Good 42º foggy/cloudy morning. Sun came and went yesterday. Some rain, 1/5", and it felt like it was going to snow. It did snow at Crater Lake but not the predicted snow at Ashland.

Did a quick run into town for a prescription and a package at the post office. My new snuggy soft winter pullover/hand warmer pocket shirt showed up...

It is sooooooooooooo soft. Got it from Potpourrie ... they have some really neat stuff!
LOL, I posted this on my FB page:
It got lots of comments and shares!

Today is special for a few folks..
Ellen (Naugle) Pantalone (Wilsonite and my former next door neighbor) is celebrating her birthday today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELLEN!!!

And friend Wayne (LASD ret SEB Motors) and his bride Shirley Low are celebrating their 48th Wedding Anniversary. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY kids!

Here is the link to the winery website that Anne (Carlin) and Led Fortini are partners in...
It's a beautiful place....

Dinner was early... I had some hummus wraps in the freezer, so thawed them.

Then didn't have the instructions for heating so put one in the Air Fryer, drizzled with olive oil on both sides, and cooked at 370º 6 minutes on each side. Perfect!

These Frankly Fresh wraps you can get at Costco.

All I know. Nuff said. Happy Hump Day. Ciao.

National Fast Food Day

Americans are always fast moving, always in a rush. As a result of our fast moving lifestyle, we need to eat quickly, and are usually unwilling or unable to wait long for our food to be prepared. As a result, fast food restaurants, came into existence. They have been a part of the American restaurant scene since the early 1950's.

Participating in National Fast Food Day is easy. You are probably already doing so, on a regular basis. All you have to do, is eat or drink at a fast food restaurant today. To be a full fledged participant on this special day, eat in fast food restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

OMG! I have been longing for a Double Double for a while now. Just haven't had a chance to go have one. I could really eat two but I don't. :)

Your new shirt looks so cuddly and warm. Cute. I too get the Potpourrie catalog. Yesterday I think I must have gotten 20 catalogs in the mail. Christmas is approaching! :(

Good morning- I'm cleaning the kitchen- fast food would not dirty it up):- Thank you for the excuse. After making Chinese yesterday- today is a BIG Job.

The winery is in SLO? That could make a nice weekend trip for us. Hoping the water situation is okay for your friends. I know a lavender farmer who was forced to lay fallow half her fields this year for lack of water. Prayers up for all who work the land.

I don't know much about their water situation, L, but I do know that grapes send their roots DEEP and I never water mine in the summer at all. They grow like crazy. xo
