Parking Notice ~ Jennifer/Gtanos ~ Juan Carlos ~ 4 Stages of Life & Success In Life

Good 43º clear sunny morning. Last time I checked yesterday it was 89º.
Yesterday I had a late afternoon dental cleaning appointment with Liz, aka Lizardbreath. I always have a great time chatting with her. Some time ago I had made some business cards:

I had given one to Liz and she told me she used it recently when a car nearly had her boxed in a parking space. After wiggling her car every which way she finally got out and then placed the card on the windshield of the lousy parked car! I gave her a couple more, just in case!
Jennifer and I decided to meet up after that, when she got off work, for dinner at Gtano's. A fav place in Grants Pass. Their food is basically South American. I got there early and had a glass of wine while waiting for her.

The lady in the background said something about it being her birthday and couldn't decide what to drink. She though maybe a mojito or a maggie. I told her their Peruvian Margaritas were the BEST ever! She ordered one and said if she didn't like it I was going to have to drink it. Well, she LOVED it and thanked me!

The restaurant is owned by Juan and Lily Carlos. SUPER nice people! Juan came out of the kitchen to say hi and we did a selfie... LOL!

Missed seeing Lily as she was busy with her kids.

Jennifer had the ginormous burrito. She could only eat half, so she's probably have the other half for lunch today!

I don't know which one, as I was talking to someone when she ordered it....
I had the Seafood Chile Relleno...

HEAVEN!!!!

National Cream Filled Donut Day

National Cream Filled Donut Day is a sugary, sweet day. Dontcha just love special days like today!? Sure, you were watching your weight. Then, along comes a special day that is just packed with calorie and carbs. And, that special day encourages you to eat one of your favorite breakfast treats.... cream filled donuts.
There is not shortage of food related "special days". We are certainly glad that someone chose to create a day just for cream filled donuts. It truely is a special treat.

The most popular cream filled donuts are chocolate cream and vanilla cream.  This author's favorite is banana cream. But, they are hard to find. Whatever flavor is your favorite, just make sure the day does not go by, without having one or  more cream filled donuts.
