Today is Armed Forces Day.
Thank you to all of those who are serving and all of those who have served. God Bless you all for that!




It stayed pretty cloudy and cool all day yesterday. Never even got to 60º...



Breakfast was fruit and cottage cheese....




Two special birthdays today.... friend Lt. Jimmy Duran (LASD) is celebrating. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIMMY!!!
With his son James, also a Deputy!


And pal Rico 'Suave' Escalante (LET LASD BC Range) is celebrating. HAPPY BIRTHDAY RICO!!!

Later I got to cooking.

I had some asparagus, spinach & kale ravioli, lemon simmer sauce in the fridge. And some Omaha Steaks Italian meatballs in the freezer.
I boiled the ravioli, baked the meatballs, and boiled the asparagus. I put it all, after draining, in the casserole Crock*Pot on 'warm'.


Then later I added in the lemon simmer sauce on the ravioli and added some cut tomatoes when I served it.


OMGOOOOOD!!!!



By 5:30 the clouds were separating and there was actually blue sky up there!

So, it was dinner on my lap, wine, movie.... I'll tell you about the movie tomorrow. It was called Joy.

Better late than never but been gone all day.

Yes I loved the looks of your dinner. It looked amazing. Strawberry shortcake would have been a great dessert! :)
