Good 44º cloudy morning.
Yesterday was nice but rain predicted for today.
So, after some errands to town (mailed ballot, picked up cat meds, renewed local
paper subscription, and picked up some cracked corn) I came home and mowed. Joy.
It was warm, in the high 80ºs. Then the clouds came in..
It got muggy. Then more clouds..
The wind started blowing and the windows on the east side of the house were
covered with raindrops...
Now the predictions have lessened...

May 3rd
National Teacher's Day
Date When Celebrated: Tuesday of the first full week of May
One of my favorite teachers... Mrs. Rector, 5th grade:
Everybody who does something good, important, and valuable deserves a day
in their honor. Teachers certainly are among the most deserving. This day honors
those hard working, patient and understanding people whom we entrust our
children to. Teachers mold our kids in a positive direction, affecting who they
are and who they become. From Kindergarten through college, teachers are an
important part of our children's lives.
So let's give 'em their due. If you happen to be a teacher reading this, we
personally offer our thanks,. The future of America is in your hands.

Martin Luther wrote these words-
"God writes the Gospel not in the Bible alone, but also on trees, and in the flowers and clouds and stars."
Imagine what overhear that computer clouds means to a child- clouds as containers of information rather than drops and dreams.
Sue, lovely photos! Congrats on getting your photos posted so many times. Lovely!
Thanks for letting us know it's teacher appreciation day. Well, that's what they call it in our schools. I shall write to Debbie and give her teacher kudos! :)
