Good 35º gloomy dark cloudy foggy morning. Rain on the way....
Texas and Louisiana are getting slammed with hail and possible tornados.
Yesterday hearing about the "thunder, lightening, hail, rain, and wind" in
So. Cal and even a dusting of snow at Cathy's in Acton...
I mentioned it wouldn't be fun for Californian's to be out driving. Cathy's
mom, Erika, said their weatherman had a suggestion, "don't drive when the roads
are wet" !!! LOL. So true down there!
We had cold and gloom half the day. Even put my clothes in the dryer before
putting them on. Burrrrrr....................... Here is the picture from the
summit yesterday..
Then by noon the sun came through and the clouds were beautiful with the
blue sky... warmed to 53º by early afternoon. No snow on the summit this
morning.
Tucker's Little League team this year is the Orioles. I ordered me a shirt
and a water bottle...
Oh, and speaking of Tucker, I had posted a photo of him at the bowling
alley when he was in a competition recently, February 22nd. Well, they found out
he won for his division!!! He should have the trophy soon!!
When I try to get things done at my computer, sometimes Bruiser makes it
impossible...
Fortunately I don't have that problem with Dude. He's content to lay and
watch out the door... a bonus for him having glass doors!
Today there are two special birthdays.. my niece, Nancy, whom I haven't
seen in YEARS! This photo taken in 1954 or 1955 (I think) with her little sister
MaryAnn... OMG she's eligible for SS now!!!!
and... Jerry's brother Ronnie (with his wife Teena Sue... Ronnie a nut just
like his brother!!) ....
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU BOTH, NANCY & RONNIE!! Wish we could chat!!! It's been a LONG time. I miss you both!

I found some interesting cooking shows on TV last night. One was on The
Cooking Channel, The Best Thing I Ever Ate. Our channel is DirecTV 232. They
have chefs on talking about the topic. Last night one was food with nuts...
candies, cakes, etc. Really fun show. They pick from restaurants all over the
country.
This was the 'usual'... chair, wine, TV, cat on lap.
Tonight I am going to make something new... with cabbage...
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Tuesday. Ciao.

Good morning. Before coffee, I forgot about Orioles being a baseball team. I thought the flocks were at your garden):-
Congrats to Tucker on the bowling trophy. One of my first outings, my younger sister lost control of the ball on the backswing and that sucker landed on my shoe. Ouch!
Your recipes are dangerously good looking.
The weather was off and on wild yesterday. Luckily, here the worst damage is the flowering trees showered their petals onto the lawn as pink and yellow confetti.
Yes, L, bowling balls can hurt!!! As for your weather, you had a lot of wind down there. My phone weather said it's snowing here in RR right now, but I don't see any. Cold though!! Maybe on my mountain there will be some. xoox
CONGRATULATIONS to your little bowler! :) Great job Tucker! Both Tucker and Sami are talented kiddos.
I was disappointed that we didn't get much in the way of a storm that had been predicted. Yesterday morning I drove Matthew down to the bus. It was thundering, raining and the wind was blowing. Soon after, the sun came out and it was a beautiful day. More rain last night tho.
I must say I'm grateful for any of the wet stuff we get.
It was freezing cold last night too. Love it.

Ha ha .. I congratulated Tucker when I heard and told him I had friends with the name "Bowler"... maybe I should get him a bowler (hat) !!! oxox
Great idea!
We periodically receive ads for shirts, caps, etc. with "Bowler" on the front. Years ago I bought all my guys sweat shirts and caps that say "BOWLER UNIVERSITY". :)
