Good 50º sprinkling first day of Spring morning~!
...also known
as the Vernal Equinox.....An equinox occurs twice a year, when
the tilt of theEarth's axis is inclined
neither away from nor towards the Sun, the center of the Sun
being in the same plane as the Earth's equator. The
term equinox can also be used in a broader sense, meaning the date when
such a passage happens. The name "equinox" is derived from the
Latin aequus (equal) and nox (night), because around the equinox,
the night and day have approximately equal length.
At an
equinox, the Sun is at one of two opposite points on the celestial sphere where
the celestial equator (i.e.
declination 0) and ecliptic intersect. These
points of intersection are called equinoctial points: classically,
the vernal point and theautumnal point. By extension, the
term equinox may denote an equinoctial point.
An equinox happens each year at two specific moments in time (rather than two whole days), when there is a location (the subsolar point) on the Earth's equator, where the center of the Sun can be observed to be vertically overhead, occurring around March 20 and September 22 each year.

Happy Spring.
The tacos look good. Can't quite tell- is some of the green avocado? I'm thinking bacon, corned beef and guacamole would make a good combo- especially with a little cabbage and parsley tossed in for good luck,
The ravioli presented like lasagna is a great idea. Would not have thought of it. Homemade is our tradition here. From scratch ravioli is much more labor intensive- but thanks to grocery stores- this new way of serving would be a hit with a crowd.
Thank you for telling me yesterday's space program was a joke. The current political climate has me pretty humorless. The things people have supposedly said, actually said and "new math" where made-up numbers are acceptable... there is more horse manure piling up than at the stables at a racetrack.
Yes, your idea for guacamole in the tacos would be good and of course cabbage, L. These had cabbage slaw and sliced jalapenos. Fire breath!!!!
I have made ravioli lasagna and it's GREAT! I buy the refrigerated fresh ravioli when I make it. You would enjoy. xo
Your Bruiser photos are great! You were right on when you caught him jumping down from the tree. I like the one on the dining table. Looks like a selfie! :)
I was just talking about Princess Ann to Becky and Daryl last night. I told them a joke that Joan Rivers told in her Las Vegas show when we were there. It was right after Princess Ann's wedding. Joan said: "Princess Ann is so ugly that the Queen had to throw a bone down the aisle to get her married"! lol I remembered that one after all these years because she nailed it! :)
Tacos look wonderful! I am cooking another corned beef today!
XO Trisha
Thanks T. Bruiser is soooooo nosey! Yes, Princess Ann certainly didn't get the good looks, did she! Enjoy that corned beef. Yes, tacos were great! xox
