Good 37º still dark foggy morning.
Breakfast... cottage cheese, celery, and yam. Mmmm...
Beats the cherry/pineapple dump cake with whipped cream I had
yesterday!
Yesterday the sun was out and Dude and I went out to enjoy it, just walking
around. It made this song come to mind...
and not able to carry a tune in a barrel, I sang it anyway!
For you Harley afficienados here is their first building in 1903, a 10'x15'
shed where the motorcycles were built in the Davidson backyard..
Thought this great!
Yesterday another one rimmed with excitement. Dog couch cover in the dryer
to rid of dog hair, wash my bedding, dishes, vacuum in house and front porch.
Yippeeeeee......

Dinner was crazy! Some gnocchi, cabbage slaw, artichoke hearts, and whole
clams. I know!
The gnocchi was boiled in garlic salted water and drained.
The slaw was sauteéd in olive oil and then the oysters were added to sauté.
Then in went 2 tomatoes and the artichoke hearts and the gnocchi...
Last minute I decided on some sauce....
OMGOOOOD! Super GOOD!!
I went outside to get a picture of the sunset....
...and up in the pasture was this critter. At first I thought it was a coyote, but closer examination... it was a baby deer! It was looking towards it's mother....
Then chair, wine, a chat with a couple pals, and a Hallmark movie....
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Sunday. Ciao.

Oh, how I want to adopt the fawn. But if the deer cross over to where the local herd munches on my roses- I expect my attitude might alter.
Good heavens- Steve Fossett chose to land in a place where the average temperature this month is below zero??? Wonder if there is more buoyancy at the latitude? Pushing up the odds of success. Considering his adventures, it is kind of a funny thing to wonder about. But there is often logic behind lunacy- the good definition of that word.
Biscuits and gravy is a favorite here.
mmmmmm Biscuits and gravy! A real southern treat. My grandma used to make them with "red eye gravy" and "thickenin gravy" which is milk gravy.
Today is also our first born's birthday. John, III is turning 47 today. WHERE did the time go??? We will take him to Ceder Creek Restaurant in Brea for his birthday dinner.
Your breakfast sure looked a lot healthier than biscuits and gravy! :)
