Good 42º rainy morning.
Boy oh boy, did the rain keep on a comin' yesterday. By 10am we had another
1/2" since I had been up for 2½ hours!! There was a 'flood watch' issued for
Curry, Josephine, and Siskiyou counties in regards to heavy rain combined with
the snow melt off. This could contribute to small stream and creek flooding and
possible urban flooding. This will last throughout Monday morning. My seasonal
creek is filled!
And water is rolling down the hill.... making a "new creek"!
Poured rain all day yesterday and we ended up with 2½" of that stuff!! A
number of streets in Grants Pass were flooded yesterday. Today prediction is for
"cloudy" and then more rain tomorrow.
The deer were out...
Yesterday's football scores:
My Patriots and Tucker's Broncos face off the 24th!
I want one of these:
Today is a special anniversary... my high school pal Sandy's (Todoran) baby
sister, Babette and her groom Jim have been married since 1986. WOW! HAPPY

retired in 1848 and devoted himself to his dictionary of synonyms, based on
notes he'd been compiling since early in his career. In 1852 he published his

Later for dinner I tried an experiment. Grands Biscuits... flatten and put
on baking tray. Spread some "pizza sauce" on each round. I didn't have pizza
sauce, so used some Puttanesca from Cucina & Amore (with tomato slices and
olives... get from Amazon.com ...) then topped that with some cooked chicken
thighs, broken up. Lastly lots of mozzarella cheese. Bake at 375º about 18
minutes. Taaaaa daaaaaa.... Individual Pizzas!
I took one of the biscuits and split it open, put on some sauce and cheese,
crimped it back together and cooked it with the mini pizzas.
I ate the stuffed biscuit and one of the mini pizzas. OMGOOOD!!!!! Of
course if you make these you can use regular pizza sauce and any topping..
pepperoni, artichoke hearts, ham, mushrooms, meatballs, sausage.... etc.
All I know. Nuff said. Happy MLK Monday. Ciao.
