Weather/Snow ~ Cat Caller ~ Errands/Shopping ~ Winslow Arizona ~ Yukon ~ Husband's Help ~ Cod Sandwich ~ Parfaits

Good cloudy 36º morning.

HEY! One month til Christmas!
Yesterday stayed pretty cool. Warmed to 45º. At 10am there was snow on my mountain!
Never did come down here.

Travel over the Siskiyou Summit south on I-5 is not somewhere I'd want to be today.....

Here is a cute story of an 8 year old standing up for a stranger..

I finally got out and went to Grants Pass (Grass Pants) yesterday. Raining here, but that was OK, and not raining in GP. Stopped to drop some stuff at Brian's office. Then to The Kitchen Company to pick up a 'treat' Jennifer made for me. Then shopping at Safeway. As Nancy says, I have a parking lot angel watching  over me. I generally get a spot in front wherever I go. Yesterday was no exception. With all the people shopping.... parking spot right in front of the doors! Pretty day... heading back home:

For those of you who don't...
(In the very beginning of this Eagles video, they were awesome!, there is a gal taking a toke off a joint!) I want to go to Winslow and take my picture on the corner!

1926 – The deadliest November tornado outbreak in U.S. history strikes on Thanksgiving day. 27 twisters of great strength are reported in the Midwest, including the strongest November tornado, an estimated F4, that devastates Heber Springs, Arkansas. There are 51 deaths in Arkansas alone, 76 deaths and over 400 injuries in all.

November 25th
National Parfait Day
Berry Parfait:

Lamon:

Smores:

A parfait consists of  layers of ice cream, whipped cream, and any combination of syrups and fruits.  Yes, it's basically a fancy word for a sundae. And, it's usually served in a fancy glass.
Celebrate this day by eating Parfaits. While chocolate is by far the favorite, use your imagination to create a wide range of single and mixed flavors.
Savor your favorite flavor of parfait, as you enjoy National Parfait Day.

The spaghetti image- there is a reason many men aren't allowed in the kitchen....

I asked the puppies if they wanted parfait or jerky- their ears went up for jerky- so that is what is going in the kitchen.

I bet I know what you are thankful for tomorrow- family and football - that doesn't make it an f'n day, does it?
