Ice ~ Musashi w/ Mike Jen Micol Bob ~ Llullsiat Greenland ~ Sunday Football Schedule ~ Book Lovers Day

Good 32º  icy foggy morning. Cannot see my mountain!
Yesterday when the sun came out and it warmed to 62º the pasture ice was making a scene!

Yesterday for lunch I hooked up with Mike & Jennifer and Micol & Bob at Musashi, in Grants Pass, for lunch. http://musashisushi.com/

Micol had the rainbow roll....

I had the crunchy tuna salad roll and tempura vegetables..
Took a picture of Jennifer's entreé, but it didn't come out...
We had a great time gabbing and eating and drinking wine for and hour and 45 minutes!!!
PICTURE OF THE DAY...
Llullsiat, Greenland:
This is interesting, but I don't think I'd like living there. Storms? Wow, must get scary!!

Historically this date..
1908 – Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid are reportedly killed in San Vicente, Bolivia.

1910 – The first air freight shipment (from Dayton, Ohio, to Columbus, Ohio) is undertaken by the Wright Brothers and department store owner Max Moorehouse.

1940 – In Tacoma, Washington, the original Tacoma Narrows Bridge collapses in awindstorm, a mere four months after the bridge's completion.

1944 – Franklin D. Roosevelt elected for a record fourth term as President of the United States of America.

1983 – 1983 United States Senate bombing: a bomb explodes inside the United States Capitol. No people are harmed, but an estimated $250,000 in damage is caused.

2000 – Hillary Rodham Clinton is elected to the United States Senate, becoming the first former First Lady to win public office in the United States, although actually she still was the First Lady. (GAG GAG AND MORE GAG)

2000 – Controversial US presidential election that is later resolved in the Bush v. GoreSupreme Court Case.
(Thank GOD Gore didn't come out on top!)

And births this date include....
1918 – Billy Graham, American evangelist

Book Lover's Day

Book Lovers Day encourages you to find a place in the shade to relax with a good book. (SHADE? Not here! A fire in the wood stove, thank you!)
Book reading is a great hobby. It's an important one, too. Employers look for it on resumes. Reading is educational, informative, and relaxing. It makes us both smarter, and happier people.
Book Lovers Day is a great day to celebrate. Just grab an interesting book, find a quiet, cozy place, and crack open the cover. If you fall asleep while reading, that's okay. It's all part of the relaxing benefits of being a book lover.

WOW! What a photo of your fog!! That would be a good one to send into the TV station. :)

Happy Birthday Billy Graham and General Patraeus. Heroes both!

Like you, I was horrified when Hil liar y won a senate seat! Now, let's pray that she gets NO WHERE the White House again! Can you imagine that husband of hers living there again? Also she was such a bitch as First Lady I can just imagine how she would treat the staff if she made it to the top! I can just see all the permanent stuff quitting!!

Thanks T, re the picture. I did send it to them, but it was not published on FB or shown on TV. Most of the photos they are showing right now are of the colorful trees.

Hill-liary is scary!!!! Agreed! xo
