Later I decided I wanted a creamy vegetable soup for dinner, since it was cool and I had the heater on! I got out all the dehydrated veggies from the cupboard...sweet potato pieces, leeks, chives, bell peppers, mushrooms, potatoes, carrots,

... green beans, broccoli, tomato dices, and peas. Then thought some veggie macaroni would be good too....

I chopped celery and hydrated the veggies... then into the Crock*Pot went the celery and a couple scoops of the crushed garlic...

Next went in the veggies, a couple cans of cream of chicken soup, a box of chicken stock, and a can of the ricotta cheese...

I turned on the Crock*Pot and let all heat well on high for a couple hours. OMGOSH, this was sooooooooooooooooo good! AWESOME! Some leftovers will be frozen, and I think I'll have a bowl for breakfast!

All I know. Nuff said. Happy TBT. Ciao.

You have inspired me to have soup for dinner. It has been very chilly here too, finally!

Lauryn's mother sure does look familiar to me. I'll bet I have met her at some political events.

I really enjoyed the walk down memory lane slide show. I feel really old as when we came to California the city hall in LA was the tallest building.

Congrats to Jack and his marching band. Love the drum line! The best part of the show!

T, Lauryn's husband is Mike Theisan! They have moved back to Chicago. Becky and Greg live about 50 miles west of Chicago now that Becky and Mike have two babies. Grandparents needed to be closer!

Yes, do make some soup. Homemade is the BEST! Loved the photos of So. Cal. So so many memories! I'll pass your congrats onto Jack! xoxo

Yes, I know about Mike and Lauryn, their two babies and living in Chicago area.

I was friends with Mike when he was out here running two headquarters for Arnold's campaign. Such a nice person. I met his sister, Trisha, and his mom when they came out to visit him. He asked me to run the DB headquarters but I wasn't about to commit to that. We had a two week Hawaiian cruise planned. He brought in a gal who was running the Redlands headquarters. That girl worked so hard and one day I caught her lying on the floor crying from over work. :(

Mike verbally invited me to his wedding at The Nixon but I never received a formal invitation. :(
Their babies are are adorable!

Congratulations to Jack and his fine band :)
Oh Sue, you've done it again! I'm literally drooling just looking at your bowl of soup. You are a genius in creating enticing looking food. I bet your house smelled wonderful.
Have a great day.
