Deer ~ Wind ~ Clouds ~ Tammy H ~ Omelette

Good 48º clear morning. Heat will start rising this week and be triple digits this coming weekend.

Mr. Buck out in the pasture this morning....

Yesterday we had some really high winds... flags straight out! Leaves blowing everywhere like mad!

... and by about 4pm we had some heavy looking clouds pass over..

Still far from being caught up here after being gone a week. I took over 300 photos and need to go through all of them. Also, so exhausted. Rest rest rest!!!

Today is a special birthday... Tammy Hyman. She is the mother of the big black lab PJ found and I transported to she and Gary...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAMMY!! (At a Giant's game a few days ago....)
The black lab, Sideways, .. and Jaco. They are best friends. I called the black lab Mr. Big Stuff but Gary changed his name to Sideways.

Yesterday dinner was a omelette. I reconstituted some freeze-dried mushrooms, spinach, and celery... This omelette maker Linda gave me. Really interesting. There is a website by the manufacturer with many products and recipes... http://www,lekue.com  Most of their recipes are in metric, so here's a page with a conversion chart: http://www.greatpartyrecipes.com/us-to-metric-conversion.html

The vegetables went into the omelette maker with some olive oil and I put in a little peppered bacon salt...

Then whip 2 eggs  and instead of milk I put in a spoonful of mayonnaise...

Put all in omelette maker, stir, and microwave 2 minutes on high....

Turn over and microwave 30 seconds...

A piece of chicken thigh, fresh broccoli, and Mr. Omelette was dinner...

You deserve some rest! 300 pictures? I feel your pain):-

Interesting on the omelet maker. I've seen them in cooking stores- but I have so little cabinet space.

Éclairs and donuts together sounds like a particularly bad pairing.
