Good 37º snow on my mountain morning!
Yesterday late the wind started HOWLING! Blowing stuff everywhere! Scared
both Dude and Bruiser. Then we got some rain. Not a lot. But this morning there
is snow on the summit and snow on my mountain!
Good grief............. Bullshillary Clintoon!! Self-serving, lying,
entitled, secretive, military hater, secret service hater, insincere, dangerous,
overconfident, calculating, crooked, power hungry........
Two years ago Jay Leno said Bullshillary was commenting that she didn't
know if she would run for President or not. Leno said that out of the 315
million Americans she's the ONLY ONE who didn't know if she'll run! So much BS
coming from that piece of work!
Yesterday I got my taxes all printed out and signed and addressed. Went to
the post office to officially send them off with a return receipt. Can't wait to
get those checks!!! Too bad OVamit doesn't have to sign them personally!! Giggle
giggle!!!
Oh, and while I was at the post office. I said something like, "Dang, my
dog Dude climbed over the back seats and is in the front seat." The guy behind
me was parked next to me. He said, "Oh, you have a Patriots sticker on your
car."
I told him I was a big fan. High school pal's uncle was Tom
Brady's mentor and coach in Ca. He told me his dad played for the Patriots in
the 60's! His name was Rocky. I have been researching that, but so far no luck.
He also said his 9 year old son's middle name is Brady! Should have gotten more
info from this guy. He said he's a local little league coach. I'll find
him!

A GREAT day this date in 2013 .... Dude arrived to become my buddy! Thanks
UPS Dave!!!!! He is THE BEST! He was so gentle with Maggie too.
And I posted this in 2012... I had called Bruiser "Casper" as he was like a
ghost.... showed up to eat and then gone..
"and saw
"Casper" up by the pump house. I called to him but got that glancing look "don't
bother me"..... In about 30 minutes he was in the bed of the golf cart chowing
down!
I did my best
not to frighten him by being sneaky taking pictures through the glass back door
...."
I am blessed I have this crazy cat and my Dude. They keep me smiling and
feeling loved!
This recipe is EASY and good...
large baking potatoes
Butter, melted
paprika
minced fresh parsley
salt and pepper to taste
Cut potatoes in half lengthwise. Slice each half widthwise six times, but
not all the way through. Fan potatoes slightly. Place in shallow baking dish.
Brush with butter. Sprinkle with paprika, parsley, salt and pepper. Bake
uncovered 350º for 50 minutes, or until tender. Drizzle with more melted butter.
Dinner last night was a wrap with some spinach, chicken, and provolone
cheese. YUMMMMMM!!
Rolled it up and heated a bit to soften the cheese.
All I know. Happy Tuesday. Nuff said. Ciao.

April 14th
National Pecan Day
Pecan Day is a rather nutty day. Its a day to celebrate and enjoy
popular, tasty pecans. Apparently, someone thought that it was such a great nut,
that they created two days to celebrate Pecans. One in March, and the other in
April. A little nutty perhaps, but true.
Name the only nut tree native to North America. ... You guessed
it........ Pecan trees.
Celebrate Pecan Day and National Pecan Day by cracking open and
eating a few pecan nuts. Also, have some pecan pie. (That was Jerry's favorite!)

Detective Sue- If Rocky hadn't wanted to be found he should never have given you clues):-
That pecan pie looks good- I have a buttermilk custard pie in the oven.
I have no use for Pete Rose.
We're a Rubio family here.
I was hoping for a Pecan Pie recipe.
Dan, I'll copy off Jerry's fav pecan pie recipe and give it to you!
I loved your adjectives for
Hil liar y. You are right on! I think we have a wonderful crop of candidates so far. Ted Cruz is my fav right now. I met his dad and have a photo with him. Such a wonderful man. A pastor and a great speaker. The apple fell very close to that tree. :) Love Rubio too. Scott Walker is great too but he hasn't declared yet :)
God forbid we get either of those Dem women!!
Yes you are blessed to have those fur kids.
XOXO Trisha
