Today is a special birthday... Bill Patterson (LASD ret) is celebrating. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BILLY BOY!!!!
Here's your theme song for this year!

Another special birthday is Al Rodriguez (LASD). I know Al from ELA and a couple mutual friends. Al came to visit me just after Jerry passed away. Love you Al!!! xoxo HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Yesterday JoanFromTheVet'sOffice put a picture of this shirt on my FB page.... I ordered one!

The sun came out again. Dude and I were enjoying it as well as some deer...

Before the sun warmed everything up, I took a picture of the frozen grass... you can just see little spots of color as the sun passed through the ice...

Dinner was seared sea scallops in olive oil, added in artichoke hearts and mushrooms, then some lemon and pats of butter.

I also had some yam that I had sliced in half, put 1" of water in the slow cooker, and cooked the halves for 4 hours on low with a little smokey garlic sea salt.

(Should have photographed it in a white bowl instead of this orange one that gobbles up all the color!) OMGOOOD!

National Hat Day

National Hat Day is set aside to wear and enjoy a hat of your choice and style. Isn't it great that hats come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and styles? There's one to fit every size head and personality. Often, hats are used to make a statement, or to promote a cause or a product.
Oh yeah... hats have logical uses, too. Some hats (Aka helmets), offer safety protection. Some hats keep your head warm, or the sun out of your eyes....how boring.
National Hat Day is not intended to just keep your noggin warm. Its a chance to make a statement and to display you favorite headgear. We suggest you wear a number of different hats over the course of the day.
Did you know? More body heat is lost from your head than other parts of the body. So, wearing a hat goes a long way towards staying warm on a cold winter's day (or night).

YAAAA For National Hat Day! I wear a hat most of these days when I go out. I am in my robe right now with hood up! :)

I am wondering if Joe Mueller is related to my friend Jody Roberto. That was her maiden name.

Cute pic of you at their wedding. You were certainly a cutie.
Good pic of Kristen. What a great experience going to Japan!

What a handsome pic of Bill! I can see it was formal night on a cruise. Love those as it gives you a chance to have a pic all dressed up!

Thanks Trish! I don't think Joe was related to your friend. Mueller is one of the top German names. He was from St. Louis Mo. Yes, formal night. ox
