Sunset ~ Drummer Jack ~ Zucchini/Veal Patty/Purple Potatoes ~ Blood Moon Eclipse

Good 41º clear morning. Got to 88º yesterday as a few clouds moved
Which made for a beautiful sunset....

10-8 is radio code speak for 'in service' ... or '10-8 out the gate!'

Here is my awesome grandson, Jack, playing his drums. This was a pre performance practice for the Gabriel Eagle Marching Regiment. He goes to Gabrielino High.

Jack is AMAZING and not only talented but very smart, charming, sweet, and handsome!

Oh look... PICTURE OF THE DAY

Dinner Monday:
Zucchini
Veal Patty
Purple Mashed Potatoes
I shredded the zucchini in my Cuisinart  and sauteéd it in some olive oil with seasonings. The veal patty comes from Omaha Steaks and are breaded. I fried two of them in olive oil. The potatoes were boiled and then mashed, skin and all, with the addition of Boursin cheese, salt and pepper. OMGOOOD!!!!!!

I did not get up in the middle of the night to see the lunar blood moon eclipse, but found this composite photo of it..

All I know. Nuff said. Happy Hump Day. Ciao.

October 8th
Emergency Nurses Day recognizes an important care giver. According to the Emergency Nurse's Association "Emergency Nurses Day salutes the dedication and commitment of emergency nursing professionals, who bring care, comfort, and compassion to patients......."

Emergency room nurses see it all. And, often it "ain't good". Yet, they return to work, knowing they make a difference to sick, injured and sometimes dying people that enter the ER each and every day.
Emergency Nurse's Day is held during Emergency Nurses Week.
Emergency Nurse everywhere, we hope you enjoy this day.

Good Morning!
You are so right, Jack is amazing. Great job. Probably has a career in music ahead of him.
I got up and checked out the moon. Beautiful.
Now, back to reading all the stuff I missed the last few days.
Have a wonderful day. xo

This gal isn't saying Ewwwww. I am cracking up! Nature is so funny at times!

Loved the video of Jack and his drums! As an eleven year band mom the drumline was always my favorite part of the field show. Yes he is tall and handsome!!

Kudos to those hard working ER nurses! I could never do that job but someone has to.

Dinner looked yummy!
