Football ~ Corn on the Cob ~ Cydney ~ Bill

Good 45º morning. It stays relatively cool most of the day until afternoon and then about 3pm it was 99º.

Football tonight:

Football yesterday:

                                                                       Whoot Whoot Whoot!!!!!!

Yesterday was laundry, bills, clean out a drawer, clean out a cupboard, cook some corn on the cob and mix up basil parmesan pesto with mayonnaise to slather on. OMGOOOD!!! Remember when you cook corn, always add about 1/4-1/2 cup of white vinegar to the water so the kernels stay crispy. I bring the water to a boil with the corn in the pan, shut off the heat and just let them sit. Perfect every time!

Ya like my frog holders?
The second cob I slathered on Tabasco Spicy Mayo. I LOVE that mayo!!!!!

Did you ever see that video of cooking corn on the cob with the husks on? I tend to cook them that way now as it's so easy.
Cut off the hard end and stick in the microwave for two minutes per cob. Take out and gently shake it out of the end of the husk. OMG they come out so sweet and tender. It's as tho there was sugar on them.

One of these days I will try putting something on them other than just butter.

Glad your Pats stomped the Bengals yesterday! :) We knew you would be a happy camper! :)
