PICTURE OF THE DAY
So true.
Speaking of dogs... my friend Cathy (LASD ret/worked ELA) has two new pups.
They were at the feed store with their litter of 10. The owner desperate to find
them homes, Cathy the Good Hearted Animal Lover, took them home! How adorable
are they! Ricky and Riley...
Yesterday I put a short video on Youtube... my cat Bruiser
loves my feet so much, other than sleeping on them, he likes to put his paws
inside my slippers! While I was sitting watching TV he got comfy...
Historically this date...

Ok, today is Sunday Football and here's the low down.. should
be interesting with the Birds playing the Birds, the Seachickens playing the
Lambs, the Bears going fishing... LOL.
I was so thrilled with the roasted carrots I decided to roast
more veggies yesterday for dinner... snap peas, mushrooms, purple potatoes, and
more carrots....
I mixed up some olive oil, sea salt, garlic salt, and Sonoma pepper...
tossed all in that mixture and put on foil lined cookie sheets...
I baked them at 400º. Took the mushrooms out after 20 minutes. Left the
rest in for 20 more. Should have taken the peas out sooner, as they got very
crunchy, but they were GOOD anyway!
Heated some turkey loaf and dinner was OMGOOOD!!!!!
If you noticed the peeler in the first picture with the vegetables... it is
a "vintage" (1940's) Ekco Floating Blade Peeler, Stainless and made in USA. It
was my Mom's. It is the BEST peeler ever! I have tried a number of others,
tossed them and kept Mom's! I LOVE using things that belonged to my parents. Makes me feel like they are close by. These are even being sold on Ebay!
All I know. Happy Sunday. Nuff said. Ciao.
