Amazing Gymnast ~ Sami & Tucker ~ Carwash ~ Crab Cakes ~ Stamping Machine ~ Erika ~ Vanilla Custard

Good 58º clear morning. Yesterday hit 97º and today is supposed to be 92º. With the humidity we've been getting it feels like 192º !!! Smoke is still lingering in the vally.

I received this from Ron Wisberger (LASD ret) and it will blow your socks off. This young woman is SO AMAZING there just aren't words. My gymnastic inclined grandchildren need to watch this! This girl is sooooooooooooooo lucky to have parents that taught her to never say "can't" !!

Here is our gymnasts Sami and Tucker....

These taken at the Josephine Co Fair this past week. They did their tumbling in a sudden rain storm!

Then first thing in the morning (9am) yesterday I went to Paradise Carwash up on the hill in Grants Pass.

I had purchased a $32 coupon for $16. They have free wifi so I took my iPad. This nice lady sat down at the same table with me and we talked and talked. She sells real estate. From San Jose. She gave me her card and said we should have coffee sometime. I gave her my card. Nice gal, Sandi. As for the carwash, I was sorely disappointed.

There were places under the rear door they didn't clean, there were spots on the back end, and they didn't wipe Dude's paw prints off the seat! If I had paid $32 I would be madder than a hatter! My favorite carwash is the one on Atlantic and Main in Alhambra! Trouble is they are 700+ miles away!

Their everyday price for a 1000% better job is $12 !!!

Yesterday lunch was crab cakes (Trader Joe's) on wildrice rice cakes, with mozarella spread and a couple veggies on the side.

Brown them in a little olive oil....

 AWESOME!!!!!

This is the giant stamping machine that Dana is taking to his house ...
Jerry used this machine to cut out patterns for holsters. You put the leather on the surface, put a metal pattern on top, and push the handle and it goes "BAM" and stamps out the holster. Then the holster needs to be sewn together, wet, and a gun mold is inserted so the holster conforms to the type of gun the holster is for.

It's 80+" high and weighs a ton! It wasn't easy getting it here and not going to be easy getting it to Dana's house! Here are the pictures of Dana, Janie, Tim, and the tow truck picking up the machine yesterday......

How adorable that the grandkids are gynmasts! So cute!

Great that you got rid of that machine and someone can put it to good use.

I really wish that you had made them wash your car over again. We have had them run it back thru when they missed stuff. So annoying and now those guys expect a nice tip too!!

I thought about it, Trish, but I was angry and wanted to get my shopping done and go home. I finished up the clean up job when I got back home, teeth clenched! xo
