Computer ~ Veggies/Salmon/Spinach ~ Red Lily

Good 55º gonna be another hot day morning. 100º yesterday.

PICTURE OF THE DAY (my desktop photo!)

Leaf Frog, Costa Rica...

New computer up and running. Learning how to adapt from Windows XP and 7 to the Windows 8. Quite a process. Different but working great so far. It takes more "right clicking" than Windows 7. Things are in different places and you have to find them. I really like Windows 8 though. All great but still can't figure out the sound problem. No sound at all, and all the right things plugged in. Dang. A puzzlement!

I'm still sick about that Malaysian plane being shot down over Russia. Wednesday Thursday Friday!! Oedipus!!!

Here was a great meal I made the other night... Put in a large pan some broccoli, cauliflower, halved grape tomatoes, carrots, cucumber, and small sweet peppers.... add oil and simmer..

Then add in a can of salmon and a drained can of sliced mushrooms..

I had some leftover bow tie pasta with a mild sauce and artichoke hearts, so added that on top and let heat through well..

Put the fresh spinach in a bowl and top with the salmon veggie mixture. OMGOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!

Oh yes, and top with grated Parmesan cheese!

Yesterday Nancy, Gloria, and Jennifer went out to Jacksonville to the Red Lily Winery. What a beautiful place! We had a great time and will definitely go back! Here is a Smilebox of the photos... sorry, hope the music is OK, can't hear it at this end!

Good morning, I really missed your Drivel. I had no idea what was going on around here.
That does make us all sick about the Malaysian plane being shot down. I just pray they did not have to suffer long. What a tragedy for all on the plane & their families left behind.
Glad your computer is up and running. The sound was wonderful and so were the pictures on the Smilebox. The Red Lily Winery is beautiful. Patty

Happy to see your blog is up again, but sorry about the sound. Good luck on getting a simple and speedy solution to that problem.
Like your froggie and I know Cathy (who loves frogs as you do) will too.
Love your idea of using up left over pasta to make your yummy salmon stir fry. I have cooked too much pasta for us to eat all in one sitting and used it up with scrambled eggs for lunch, but love your idea for a great salmon stir fry dinner on a bed of fresh spinach!!! Thanks!
Smilebox - Red Lily Winery The sound is great and so is the rest of the video. Cute little guy you baby sat for a bit :) Thanks for sharing. Erika
