I buy Ice Chips. They are very tasty, come in many flavors, and have xylitol in them which is good for your teeth... keeping them healthy and cavity free. My dentist agrees. These were invented by two grandmas. You can find them at   They are sugar free also.

Today is a special birthday... Laura Vincent Virant! Kristen's friend and our neighbor when we lived in Temple City. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAURA!!! (Laura with her husband Conrad and Sophie and Winston)

Historically this date....
1910 – The first Father's Day is celebrated in Spokane, Washington.

1978 – Garfield, holder of the Guinness World Record for the world's most widely syndicated comic strip, makes its debut.

And births this date include...
1903 – Lou Gehrig, American baseball player (d. 1941)
Cute. Dimples~!

1921 – Louis Jourdan, French actor
... this yummy man has been married to his one and only wife since 1946!

1969 – Lara Spencer, American TV personality

1975 – Poppy Montgomery, Australian actress

Marteen and his 15 year old son showed up yesterday and disassembled my raised garden. Then they rebuilt the two raised beds in front and back behind the wood shed they cleaned it all up... leaves, wood pieces, branches, etc. Said it will be much safer if there was ever a fire close. I am going to fill this area with bark. There is a company, I have a call into them, who comes out and blows it onto the ground.

And the new raised beds...

All I know. Happy TB Thursday. Nuff said. Ciao.
