No Water Hump Day Turkey Broth Sunset Noodle Ring

Good 19º almost 20º morning. Day #4 no water.

It is still going to be below freezing at night for another week... +   so I see no hope of getting water flowing here. To turn on a faucet, take a shower, flush the toilet.... all luxuries to me now.

Happy Hump Day!

I went to Dave and PJ's yesterday and Dave filled up my water jugs. They were going into town so mailed some letters for me, picked up a package from the PO and got me a box of wine! Lordy, we may not have water but we can't run out of wine! Thanks guys!!!! xo

Turkey soup.... a start.... without dishwasher capabilities, hot water, water at all... I am hesitant to cook much except for Progresso soup in my mug in the microwave... Anyway, started the turkey soup... with bones and spices. Have a broth now and will work on the soup later...

I put the pot out on the top of the freezer on the back porch..... it will certainly stay cold back there!!

It got cloudy yesterday ... This was about 4pm:

My Mom had a screened in porch she used it as a fridge in the winter too. Fun memory.

Could you go stay in a hotel one night to take a hot shower? I was ready to last year! We went I think 10 days without water because of the well. Love t&g

My friends and my neighbors have offered shower facilities for me. Spit baths are ok for now. Too cold anyway to sweat! I do need to take my dirty dishes to someone's dishwasher though! xo

Oh dear! Am hoping you get your water back soon. I hope people who visit everyday (like me) occasionally actually tell you how much we enjoy your blog!

You could bring your dishes here to wash- we're still complaining about 50 degrees being cold- at least it doesn't break our pipes!
