Art Museum ~ Blondies' ~ Becky ~ Leopard Purring ~ Tacos & Vodka!

Good 34º foggy morning. Burrrr...... Ice on the barn roof! Stayed cool all day yesterday but was sunny. Looks like a slight warm up and then the possibility of rain after the weekend.

"10-4" ... acknowledged (OK)

Yesterday was haircut/color day. Then in the early evening I met Jennifer Murphy at the Art Museum in Grants Pass. They were having a special acknowledgment for the artists.

Two pigeons were watching me as I took photos..
The art ranged from photography .. to paintings .. to statues ... to drawings...

I liked this odd frog...
An 1850's drawing of a German building ....
Wine and hors d'oeuvres were served. This one in particular was of interest to me... and good! Artichoke leaves (canned) topped with whipped cream cheese, a honey walnut, and a piece of cucumber...

Jennifer and her friend Kate Huckert (physical therapist in GP..
http://www.actionrehab.com/staff-pages/kate-huckert-dpt-cert-mdt/ ) and I went across the street to Blondies' for a bite to eat..

I had the crab cakes (Yummy!) served with three sauces... tartar, spiced mayonnaise, and sweet/hot.
Good time, headed home and got here at 8:45... happy pup and cat waiting for me!

Today is a special birthday... Becky Lundell (bride of Wilsonite Greg!) HAPPY BIRTHDAY BECKY!! You show Illinois how birthdays are supposed to be celebrated!!! Just remember, no matter how fun the celebration is.. the police line-up the next day isn't! <g>

Speaking of Greg...he sent me this video of a leopard purring.... sooooo sweet!

Love art exhibits. Wish I could have been there to share the artichoke appetizer.

Hurricanes are what kept my mo in California. In choosing what disaster she preferred to worry about- the quickness of fate revealed by our earthquakes.
