Shopping ~ Ruth

Good hot smokey afternoon. Let's see, it's 3pm here (1500 hours) so that makes it 5:pm (1700 hours) in Houston! HAPPY HOUR!

Yesterday Jeannie and I met at Wal-Mart and spent $217 on items to send to Casey in Afghanistan.. We had the best time... from Planters Honey Nut Mix, stomach relief tabs, gum: Big Red, Double Mint, Spearmint, Juicy Fruit ... antibacterial wipes, hard candy: butterscotch, peppermint, cinnamon, and spearmint... Hall's Sore Throat: honey, Ricola lemon, Hall's menthol, Equate cough drops, Slim Jims, large Band Aids, lip balm, eye drops, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, Cup of Soup, and Top Raman. Filled a basket. Now I have to box it all up and get it on it's way to Casey.

 

Today is super late because I had a fasting blood test early... then was at Costco when they opened. Was starving, but finished my shopping and then got an Asian Chicken Wrap and a frozen mocha latte. OMG!!!!! Ate some in the car and came home. The rest is for dinner.

Ok, photos of the goodies for Afghanistan tomorrow. Got the pest control guy coming in the morning to put some bait in the attic and under the house. Strange "critter noises" both places in the middle of the night. UGH!
