Flag Day ~ 1975 Wedding Day ~ Ryan ~ Levis to Vets ~ Infuzed Salmon Sliders

Good 39º sunny morning.

Stayed nice yesterday, got to 70º and the clouds were beautiful....

Today has been a super special day since 1975... Flag Day, our wedding day. 38 years ago. Went so fast!

Today is also my great nephew, Ryan Plumbridge's birthday. HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY RYAN!!!

Picture of the day.....
A section of the photographer’s fish tank broke, causing that corner of the house to be lit up by rainbow colors. Bailey the cat decided to sit in that corner and became Rainbow Cat.

Yesterday was errand day. I left here, got Maggie's prescription, my prescription, a package at the post office, dropped a computer screen off to Turk (he fixes computers and puts computers together for kids who can't afford them), and then stopped at the Elk's Lodge with a load.....
5 bags of Jerry's old Levis (about 30 pair) and a few pair of Prison Blues... and one pair of Tony Lama cowboy boots. Bill Jackson will take them over to the Veteran's Rehab Center in White City. He said the vets love Levis and will be happy to get them.

I think Jerry would be pleased the vets can use them instead of selling them or sending to Goodwill or .....

Then to the market for a fun shopping spree. OMG, Best Foods Mayo has come out with a new one... Creamy Balsamic!

Boy howdy is it good!!!!

Stopped at Infuzed and picked up a couple of salmon sliders and some black bean salad. OMGOOD!!!!
I also got some habañero/mango infused lemonade. Yummm... (it's GREAT with some vodka in it too!) Thanks Shelly and KC!

Now this is really interesting about Barley, an opossum...

Oh yes, what a wonderful way to put those Levis to good use. We used to have a cleaners here who paid good money for Levis, no matter the condition, as they would send them to other countries and get paid well for them. Giving them to vets was a great idea for Jerry's.
Love your wedding photo. So pretty with your flowers in your hair looking so young and beautiful and Jerry so handsome and the kids so cute.

Happy Birthday to Sheriff Joe! Love that guy! Wish we had thousands more like him and his jail!! Maybe there wouldn't be so many repeat offenders!!

Wish I could put my flag out today but there's no way what with the upheaveal out there. Oh well I normally have it up 24/7/365 so I am forgiven! :)
Had to cancel the gardener and pool man for today.

XO Trisha

Thanks T! xoxo
Yes, Joe is pretty special in the law enforcement world! I like him too.

You are one of the most patriotic people I know. Don't worry about the flag. You will catch up. Wear something red white and blue! xo
