iGoogle ~ Kathy & Don/Patrick & Alice/Jack/Sal ~ Pursuit Interrupted ~ Tucker's Game ~ Yoda

Good high cloudy 38º ice on the barn roof morning.

I LOVE iGoogle. I use it every day for my blog and for digging up info and photos. On my page I have NFL scores, weather, recipes, funny cat photos, hummingbird photos, and a bunch of stuff. Google is killing iGoogle November 1st this year. Please sign the petition to stop this....
Thank you!

Pursuit interrupted....

Historically this date.....
1943World War II: British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt set Monday, May 1, 1944 as the date for the Normandy landings ("D-Day"). It would later be delayed over a month due to bad weather.

1962 – A birthday salute to U.S. President John F. Kennedy takes place at Madison Square Garden, New York City. The highlight is Marilyn Monroe's rendition of "Happy Birthday".

1986 – The Firearm Owners Protection Act is signed into law by U.S. President Ronald Reagan.

And births this date include.....
1935David Hartman, American actor and journalist

1939 – Dick Scobee, American astronaut (d. 1986)

1946André the Giant, French wrestler and actor (d. 1993)

1959Nicole Brown Simpson, American murder victim, wife of O. J. Simpson (d. 1994)
 ....Never will she get justice!

Yesterday afternoon was Tucker's baseball game. Brian stayed home with Sami, as she ended up getting "walking pneumonia" from the virus she had. She's better, but still coughing. Jen and Jean were there. The weather was weird, sun came out jackets off, sun went away wind came up jackets on! The cottonwood trees were shedding the "cotton" and it looked like it was snowing! They are lovely shade trees but the end of May to the first of June they drop the seeds which are fluffy and blow everywhere...

One of the moms at the game with her little girl...in her Yoda hat! Soooooo cute!!!

One the way home.....

And our Depot Street Bridge in RR decorated with flags for Armed Forces Day... (the 3rd Saturday in May)

LOVE the yoda hat. It matches the wrap.
Have you tried Google now? It's too bad Google can't monetize the system you love well enough to keep it alive.

Thanks Tammy and Gary! xo

L, I think Google Now is an app for an android or something like that, not computers. I don't have a phone that does anything other than send and receive calls and text. Old fashioned! xo

So sorry little Sami is sick but glad to hear she is getting better. Love the "Texas and the Rangers" shirts together. Great photo!
Darling baby in her Yoda hat! I'll bet Becky could make one of those.
Frustrating that the high speeder wasn't caught! Hope they got his license number!

What? No dinner last night? :(

XO Trisha

Thanks T. Yes, dinner was Asian Chicken wrap with the new Sesame dressing I got at Costco (yesterday's blog).... The chicken wrap is 4 large portions... can't eat it all at once. Had one for breakfast today! One more left. xo
