Good 30º foggy morning....

Yesterday vacillated between very cold ... to cold ... to decent. It warmed to 48º with the sun out! YEAH! Talk about a heat wave. Tennis anyone??? LOL.





Breakfast was 'Hoppin Bill' and poached eggs.....


On Wednesday Bill Patterson introduced me to Dierks Bentley and his 5150 song. If you like COUNTRY this is fun...







Our phone guy showed up about 10-ish and climbed poles, worked on several and finally cured the "problem", whatever it was. Bob is a super nice guy and knows his phone stuff!







 

Today is a special friend's birthday... Lydia Plunk. She is one of the So Cal Daily Drivel Gals.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY LYDIA!!!

All I know. Well, my granddaughter was on a date last night. Sigh.... haven't heard how that went yet! Sixteen is a frightening age for parents and grandparents. We know! Nuff said. Ciao. Happy TGIF!

(like my Brian, I prefer angel hair pasta!)
Spaghetti alla Bolognese (meat sauce), Alfredo with garlic shrimp and broccoli, or fresh tomatoes, bell peppers, garlic, and basil in olive oil....

I do have a question. How did you get "Hoppin Bill" out of "Hoppin John"? Just the variation of the recipe?
