Sunday Night Football ~ Look Twice ~ Egg Pie ~

Good 53º morning. We hit 93º yesterday. Didn't turn on the ac until noon! Nice. We had 5 days in a row of triple digits ... I know, whine whine whine... but I didn't move up here for the heat like all you folks in the South and the Ca and Az desert! I like RAIN! and COLD. Well, not that cold. I HATE a cold toilet seat!!!

ARE YOU RAEADY FOR SOME FOOBALLLLLL????? I watched the Colts (new QB Andrew Luck)
(He's got the same number as my Brady boy!) and the Steelers last night. Sure thought the Colts had them by 1 and ended up Steelers won by 2! Wow. Close game.

For those of you interested in Burbank here is a site with lots of photos. If you scroll to the bottom there is another link with history etc. Thanks to Pat Tracy for this...

Here are a couple pictures that you will look twice at:

Dinner ... an experiment in my new "pie maker"....
Eggs and bacon in a pie with cheese....

Very tasty!!!! I ate two and Maggie and Harley shared one. LOL. One left for breakfast!

Checking through the news items and there is a video from a news room ("Newsy" from Fox) and the newscaster sexy female said, "A man died from Hantavirus he contracted in (get this) "Yaz-mettie". OMG ... duh, Yosemite!! Wonder what planet she was born on! Hantavirus is spread by rodent droppings and urine. He was staying in the Curry Village which are tents on platforms and have cots and wash basins. Primitive but fun. Ex and I stayed there when I was pg with Kristen!
I wrote Fox News re this nutcase's pronouncing of Yosemite ... my gosh, it's a UNITED STATES NATIONAL PARK for crying out loud! "Yaz-mettie" !!!!!!!

Historically this date...
1910 – The Great Fire of 1910 (also commonly referred to as the Big Blowup or the Big Burn) occurred in northeast Washington, northern Idaho (the panhandle), and western Montana, burning approximately 3 million acres.
1938Lou Gehrig hits his 23rd career grand slam – a record that still stands.
1986 – In Edmond, Oklahoma, U.S. Postal employee Patrick Sherrill guns down 14 of his co-workers and then commits suicide.
.....hence the term "going postal".

And births this date include a bunch of people, none of which flip my skirt!

All I know. Have a good Monday! Nuff said. Ciao.
