'Hemp' Lotion ~ EVOO al Limone ~ Quinoa Salad

Good 54º clear and soon to be hot morning. I think we hatched a 94º yesterday. Was cooled down by 9pm when I opened up the house. Slept well.

I was telling Jeannie that the "hemp" lotion Lacy used on my feet and legs when I had the pedicure and massage was really good and made my skin sooooo soft. Jeannie had an extra bottle and gave me some.
... and it smells great! I have never had any hemp product, ever. I like this! It is gluten free, 100% vegan, contains hemp seed oil, shea butter, and glycerin. (you can buy it on Amazon.com or maybe your local beauty supply) On top of that, there has never been anything in my house with a cannabis leaf on it either!!! Hmmmm....

The 'do' isn't really working for you!

So, dinner was simple.... not feeling all that terrific, so cooking is a task. Anyway, in my rice cooker I cooked quinoa. It's like rice, but so much better for you! I let it cool and added chopped diced celery, green bell pepper, sweet yellow-orange-and red peppers, tomatoes, carrots, fresh mozzarella cheese balls and some of the oil and parsley they were in, and baby spinach. Then I drizzled in EVOO al Limone.

Which is extra virgin olive oil from olives pressed with fresh Italian lemons. All made, packaged, and sold from Casina Rossas in Italy. I got mine from the Rogue Creamery in Central Point, BUT you can buy it on Amazon.com:

Ok, so I also added splashes of Pomegranate balsamic vinegar, sea salt, citrus pepper, & garlic powder. The balsamic comes from Napa.

I got mine at Jacksonville Mercantile....

It was awesome and light and perfect for a hot day! Salad and a glass of cold wine. Wonderful!

All I know. Happy Sunday. Nuff said. Ciao.
