HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO MY BRIAN! What a great Dad you are!

Today is also a special day for my friends Erika and Spencer Norman. They are celebrating their 51st Wedding Anniversary. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO YOU KIDS!

... also today my friend Liz Arredondo Duncan is celebrating her little guy's birthday. HAPPY 8th BIRTHDAY WADE!!!

And it was 2 years ago today that I first spotted the feral cat I call Casper..... took this picture...

THEN.... yesterday I went out back and there she was! She didn't run off and I came in and got some wet and dry food for her, set it in the bed of the golf cart, and she was waiting on the seat for me!!! I stayed there while she ate, talking to her. Sigh.....

....taken through the glass door......
AND...................this morning she let me pet her!!!! I am so excited. I saw her perched in the grass in the front yard when I let Maggie out. I think she was waiting for birds under the bird feeder. Maggie ignored her and she ignored Maggie. I put food out back and she immediately jumped into the back of the golf cart and let me pet her! Also, Maggie was having a sniff fest on one of her front porch beds, so I'm thinking Casper is sleeping out there now on one of them! Good. A safe place for her.
