Maggie & Mr. Ground Squirrel ~ Won Ton Tacos

Good (Burrrr.....) 43º morning. I wish I had my downy comforter on the bed last night. I really got cold. Windows were open. My goodness.

Nationwide Candlelight Memorial ..
To honor our heroes, tonight, Wednesday, between 8-11pm, every American should light a candle in memory of our US SEAL Team 6.

Now here is a great video of a cat on a houseboat playing with dolphins....
Yesterday I cleaned, tossed out, organized. I am just in a whirlwind. It does feel good. The UPS gal showed up with my new vacuum...

It's a Panasonic with a bag and a hepa filter. I like it because all the tools are stored in the cleaner, it's  light weight (good for my stairs and upstairs! I have an upright, but it's really heavy!) and it got a cord that is more than 5 feet long! My old one, yes, the cord is only 5 feet long and a pain in the 'you know'. Always have to attach an extension cord. Anyone need a little Eureka vacuum for a small space??? It looks like this...

If nobody wants it, I will put it by my mailbox and it will be gone in 60 seconds!!! LOL. Put a little old fold up stool out there the other day. Someone wanted it!

So, worked on my saved recipe files. Put them into clear plastic sleeves and into a notebook. I constantly cut out and save stuff like that. Did get rid of a lot of recipes I know I'll never make.
Then I went into my bedroom to find a notebook and here was Maggie, just resting and looking around....

The silly didn't even see the ground squirrel! OMG. Well, I made a bunch of noise and then............

Little bugger! Since Maggie is pretty deaf I poked her butt and she turned and I waved for her to come, opened the back door, and she was out like a SHOT!!! Don't think the 'bugger' will be back for awhile! LOL

I have a new screen save... so cute... cats eyes move back and forth, fish swim all over...

Bill and Jeannie took a drive into see Brian
http://online2.statefarm.com/b2c/sf/agent/37/2216  and he did his magical money saving deal....  ♥♪♫ Like A Good Neighbor.. State Farm Is There....♥♪♫

Then they came home and Chaka Baby got to lounge in the pool....  Happy girl! Such a love.

Dinner last night was an experiment. Won Ton Tacos....
Separate the won ton wrappers, spray the edges of a baking dish, lay them over the edge, bake at 400º for 6-7 minutes, until crisping and some brown....

When the won tons had cooled I filled them with shredded chicken, shredded mozzarella cheese, and topped with a mixture of Harry and David's Mango salsa and Lay's French Onion dip....

Tasty, but I may or may not make them again. Different, honey.  I did cook some wrappers in the muffin tin, and then filled a couple, but that was unsuccessful.

These were just messy to eat.
All I know. Nuff said. Ciao. Happy Hump Day.

I loved the video with Thunder the kitty playing, and kissing the dolphin. It was so sweet but I kept expecting Thunder to lose her footing and fall in the water. Wonder what the dolphin would have done. Interesting.

Looking forward to reading the recipe for banana split cake. Sounds yummy! While pg with Eric I had an intense craving for a good banana split. I had one every where I went to find just the right one. Fun! What's weird was Eric has always hated bananas! Guess he had his fill of them! LOL
