Gluten Free Soup ~ Costco ~ Atlas ~ Sugar Cookie Day

Good 43º morning. Hmmmm, think it hit somewhere around 88º yesterday. Fine with me. Ben Hunt sent me a picture of an ice cream truck from his town, Queen Creek Arizona.....

I found a "Handyman's Rule" .. "Cut to fit, beat into place."
This has sort of always been my philosophy too, only I say,
"If it doesn't fit .. force it."  ;o)    Works for me!

My hair girl, Leah, told me about a Progresso soup that is gluten free... she, her daughter Marley, and a lot of my friends have found they have an intolerance to gluten and now so many products are out there for them....

In this case, the gluten free soup is the Chicken Corn Chowder with Bacon! Yummmmmmmm....

Yesterday PJ and I went to Costco.

Got there fairly early ... dog chews for Atlas, Maggie's treats, blueberries, grape tomatoes, broccoli, mini cucumbers, postage stamps (buy 100 get25¢ off!), kitchen sponges, found the only and last bottle of Chipolte/Raspberry sauce for Debbie!, and I got an "Asian Chicken Wrap" to bring home and eat. OMG.... it's SOOOOOO GOOD!! Their rotissarie chicken, lettuce, cabbage, carrots, and a sesame sauce with a hint of teriyaki.

My granddog, Atlas, is here for the weekend.

He has already gotten past the barrier and eaten all of Harley's food this morning! Change of location for Harley's grub!

Also, I used to think WINE was bad for me,
so I GAVE UP thinking!

You know, the news lately is filled with awful stuff going on.. the "policeman of the year" in Florida was arrested for selling drugs, a fan (a fireman there with his 6 year old son)  in Texas at the A's Rangers game tried to catch a ball and fell to his death, of course the Anthony trial was just madness. That will go down as one of the three I can recall that were pathetic.. OJ's trial, the investigation into the death of JonBenet Ramsey, and this screwed up attempt to bring justice.

Historically this date....

1947 – The engagement of Britain's Princess Elizabeth to Lt. Philip Mountbatten is announced.

She needs a stylist!!!

LOL LOL I am laughing at your above comment re OJ! Also still grinning looking at the ice cream truck. Too cute.
I couldn't agree with you more about the three miscarriages of justice! Pitiful!!
Love the looks on Atlas and Maggie's faces. Atlas has that "hound dog" face and Maggie looks as tho she's thinking "jeeeeze HE's here again"!lol
I have had those ckn wraps and they are low in calories and delicious!
I loved Fred Savage in Wonder Years as he was so adorable. Glad to see he grew up to be a decent man with a darling son.

I was soooo sad hearing about the man who fell trying to catch the ball. They say he was alive when they got to him and he said "My six yr old son is up there alone. Please take care of him". Poor baby. So sad.

Yes, T, Maggie is, I'm sure, thinking that. Atlas just misses his family! He loves me and is sweet, buy keeps an eye on the gate!

Next trip to Costco, more chicken wraps! xo
