~ Shopping ~ Kyrgyzstan ~ Ummmmmm-BELLLLA Day ~

Good 20º morning. Again... burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

So early yesterday I went to the Republican HQ and Laraine and I stuffed about 120 envelopes, sealed, and put stamps on them. We also had a nice chat. Then I left for Costco but detoured to Harry and David.

They have been all over the news being in bankruptcy. Talked to one of their associates and they are going to be fine. Yeah! I picked up 3 pounds of discontinued coffees..... Moosemunch Peanut Butter Chocolate, Moosemunch regular, and

Decaf Hazlenut Praline Cinnamon .. all whole beans. Also got some Flaxseed and Multigrain chips, and some Garlic Smoked Mozzarella dip. Oh my. Good. (got a taste) And then I saw it..... Bob's Big Boy Blue Cheese Dressing!!!! OMG. I couldn't believe it. Of course, I bought one. Ahhhh the memories of a "Big Boy Combo, add avocado, and a side of blue cheese". Pure unadulterated heaven.

Then to Food 4 Less...

Picked up some stone ground buckwheat waffle mix and some stone ground red wheat waffle mix, some fat free all natural FUDGE BROWNIE MIX..Cappuccino flavor, and some fresh basil to infuse into vodka (another project), and some Valentine goodies for Tucker and Sami.  I also bought a whole box (8)of my favorite candies.... Ice Breakers cinnamon flavor.

Then to Costco....

Picked up a shrimp salad ($12.00 but it will last at least 2-3 meals)with a mayo dressing and basil, lettuce, and celery. Good! I got lobster ravioli, blueberries, baby spinach, and grape tomatoes. Got Brian some artichokes, doggie dental chews, and pig ears. Returned the chicken jerky that was giving Maggie bright yellow poops (made in China .. now so untrustworthy.)  I got PJ's sister, Mike, canned salmon that she likes and will drop it off at Brian's office that is near her house so she can pick it up when she passes by.

I am so glad your local Harry and David will make it through the bankruptcy intact.

Mark Spitz. Ahhhhh Next time I'm at the dentist, I'm going to tell my Dr. Wyler I could have picked Mark Spitz, but I picked him- so easy on the drill, baby, drill):-

S,
I too am glad your H & D will make out fine. Your goodies sounded wonderful that you purchased. Was it you who was looking for your waffle iron? Didn't find it and bought a new one? I used mine until it was so awful that the waffles wouldn't come off of it so I tossed it. About once a week my mother in law would come out to visit and I would make waffles.
Don't need one anymore as no one around here eats breakfast at home anyway.

Poor Jimmy Durante was sure a homely guy but he was talented so he made it big.
Isn't it funny looking at all the "......stan" countries. Wonder how that came to be.

Hugs, Trisha

Yes,T, it was me looking for my waffle iron. Must have tossed it years ago. I agree about eating waffles for breakfast but I wanted to try the brownie one and the savory one with ham and cheese to go with eggs. xo

Oh, I hope Harry and David's have filed Chapter 13 and survive! I do love their fruit. I will have to see if Rob and Christine still have their business in Oregon. Great pancake batter, my Ron's favorite. Wind is a blowing here still, a tree on the corner broke in half. Went to Costco today. Picked up mostly paper goods, and household cleaning goods, but as always picked up lamb chops and avocadoe, which are ripe. Most likely leftover from SuperBowl Sunday. Sarah signing off.
