Mo' fog ~ Mo' football ~ New Year's resolutions....

Good 28º morning. Don't know what it looks like outside. Too dark still (7:15am)  but probably like yesterday, foggy and frozen.

Yesterday was nothing exciting. I fought with my computer/printer most of the day, between it printing and then restarting and unplugging the printer and plugging it back in.... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

The football yesterday was ok. Cheering the Colts on and they lost 23-20. Tight game. My Patriots whomped the Dolphins 38-7. Kristen's Jets displayed the same score over the Bills. Cliff's Chargers lost to the  Broncos 33-28.  Jets and Colts square off this coming weekend. Playoffs ... yeah!

Hey, for some good drumming fun.... here's my grandson Jack...

Ok, all I know. Back to fighting with my computer and printer. Dinner will be stir-fried veggies and brown rice. The "resolution" to eat healthy and portion control. UGH. In the last two days I have tried to eat up all the goodies here so the "resolution" has a chance! Oh my did Judy ever make some good chocolate covered peanut butter candies! Then there's the alcohol soaked fruit cake...... and the Baklava from Linda, the peppermint bark from Alex and Mary.... thankfully the wonderful Huckleberry Cream coffee from Edda has no calories!!! Oink oink.....

I watched the video of Jack again from Feb. Boy that kid is really good! Then another one came up at the end of him in 2009, so watched that one, too. Not only talented, but such a little looker! ;-)

Oh, I know what you mean about all the candy around here. I haven't opened the Coldwater Creek chocs from Edda yet. Saving them for the big Friday turkey event to share with everyone!
HUGS Judy

Keep the fighting inside!

Love Mel Gibson movies. While a couple titles are too bloody for me to watch- Freedom runs a common thread through so many- where he allows humanity to overwhelm brutality- many of his work touch on genius.

Sue,
I know you are so proud of Jack! He is terrific! The video kept freezing then would restart but I hung in there and watched. He's so cute and really talented!

I sent a lot of our "goodies" home with Kev and Deb last night! That was mean since they are going to be losing weight in the new year! Sent the rest of the Hoppin John too.:)

Betty Furness was married to Johnny Green before he married model/actress Bunny. She is the mother of my long time Parnell friend Kathe Green. An amazon woman of six feet and now so is Kathe. Betty and Johnny had a daughter, Babs who often came out to Parnell to visit Kathe with her dad.
I was shocked to see how much Betty looked like Marilyn Munroe! I had to keep looking and looking at the photo.

Hugs, Trisha

The fighting? The printer??? LOL
Yes, I do like Gibson's work. Sad he had to flip out publically. xo

Interesting about your friend Kathe and her mom, Betty. Does Kathe look like her mom? xo
